
Elaina Loveland is a former editor of the Journal of College Admission. She holds a master's degree in English and has taught both college-level English and dance to children in the Washington, DC, area. As an active freelance writer, Elaina has written about higher education and dance for numerous publications including Adjunct Advocate, American Careers, Dance Teacher, Dance Spirit, Hispanic Outlook on Higher Education and Pointe, among others. She is a member of the National Dance Education Organization. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
